INFORMATION ABOUT THE INSURANCE INTERMEDIARY (INSURANCE AGENT) PROVIDED TO THE CLIENT BEFORE CONCLUDING THE INSURANCE CONTRACT

in accordance with the requirements of Part 1 of Article 88 of the Law of Ukraine “On Insurance”

2. Legal status of authorization under Agency Agreements

LLC “PARASOL.UA” is an insurance agent authorized under agency agreements with insurance companies to perform, on behalf of and by instruction of insurers, part of insurance activities related to the conclusion and execution of insurance contracts, namely:

• advertising and/or conducting marketing, advertising, and other preparatory activities aimed at concluding insurance contracts, including but not limited to providing information about the terms of the insurance contract according to the criteria and/or needs specified by clients, conducting comparative analysis, consulting on the terms of the insurance contract;
• offering and advising the client regarding the conclusion of an insurance contract, and other preparatory work related to concluding insurance contracts;
• concluding and amending the insurance contract, preparing documents and calculations for paying the insurance premium;
• preparing necessary documents for timely insurance claim payments and other activities related to organizing insurance claim settlement;
• receiving the insurance premium from the client and transferring it to the insurer;
• taking additional actions agreed with the Insurer to conclude or execute the insurance contract.

4. Information on the provision of individual advice and recommendations (proposals) to the client

LLC “PARASOL.UA” provides individual consultations regarding the terms of offered insurance products and recommendations for selecting the insurance product that best meets the client’s requirements and needs via the support service at https://parasol.ua/, via messengers, by email [email protected], through the contact center (044) 207-04-35, and via a Telegram chatbot.

6. Information about the significant participation of the Insurance Intermediary (insurance agent) in any Insurer

The insurance intermediary (insurance agent) does not own significant participation in any insurer.

7. Information about the significant participation of any Insurer in the Insurance Intermediary (insurance agent)

No insurer owns significant participation in the insurance intermediary (insurance agent).

8. Type of remuneration for concluding an insurance contract, procedure and conditions of its payment

For concluding insurance contracts, the insurance agent receives a commission in the amount of a fixed percentage of the insurance premium under the insurance contract (the commission is included in the insurance premium). The remuneration to the insurance intermediary (insurance agent) is paid by the insurance company on the basis of an act of services rendered.

9. Amount and method of payment for the services of the Insurance Intermediary (insurance agent) directly by the client

The client does not pay for the services of the Insurance Intermediary (insurance agent).

10. Any other payments (except the insurance premium) that the client is obliged to pay according to the terms of the insurance contract after its conclusion

The client is not required to pay any other payments (except the insurance premium) according to the terms of the insurance contract after its conclusion.

11. Mechanisms and methods of protecting the rights of consumers of financial services (including the possibility and procedure of out-of-court dispute resolution, the insurer’s address for submitting customer complaints)

Requests from consumers of financial services are reviewed and resolved by the Insurer within no more than one month from the date of receipt, and those not requiring additional examination — no later than fifteen days from the date of receipt.
If it is not possible to resolve the issues raised in the request within one month, the authorized representative of the Insurer sets the necessary review period, which cannot exceed forty-five days.
The request may be submitted orally via telephone communication through the Insurer’s or agent’s contact center, or in writing to the Insurer’s email address or via postal mail to its physical address.
A complaint regarding actions or decisions of the Insurer may be submitted to the superior authority:

- The State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection (address: 01001, Kyiv, B. Hrinchenko St., 1, tel. (044) 279 12 70, email: [email protected]).
Submitting a complaint to the Insurer or a competent authority does not deprive the consumer of the right to go to court under applicable law, and if the consumer disagrees with the decision made on the complaint — to apply directly to the court.

- class 8 – insurance of property against fire and natural hazards;
- class 9 – insurance of property against damage caused by hail, frost, and other events (including theft, robbery, assault, intentional damage/destruction of property), except events covered by class 8;
- class 10 – liability insurance arising from the use of land vehicles (including carrier’s liability);

The insurance premium under insurance contracts is paid to the current account of the insurance intermediary (insurance agent) with a special usage regime for receiving and transferring insurance premiums.

The insurance intermediary (insurance agent) does not make insurance payments.

17. List and procedure for providing assistance services by the insurance intermediary (insurance agent)

The insurance intermediary (insurance agent) does not provide assistance services.

18. Procedure for processing consumers’ personal data and the actions of the insurance intermediary (insurance agent) to protect them

The insurance intermediary (insurance agent) complies with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” and the internal regulatory documents of the Insurers regarding the processing and protection of the personal data of consumers of financial services.
